Positive Thinking, Change your thoughts and change your world!

Positive thinking, what does this mean to some people? Lets first break it down.
Positive according to Webster dictionary means:
a : formally laid down or imposed : prescribed (positive laws)
b : expressed clearly or peremptorily (her answer was a positive no)
c : fully assured : confident (positive it was her book)
Thinking means:
1 : the action of using one's mind to produce thoughts.

To me positive thinking is allowing your mind to be positive having happiness, joy, health and anticipating a successful outcome of every situation and action. So do people believe that Positive Thinking can allow them to have all of this?

It is quite common to hear people tell someone else to think positive when they find someone having a tough time, but do they really know how to use the Power of Positive Thinking themselves?

One of the things I have discovered that in order to turn the mind toward the positive, inner work and training are required. Attitude and thoughts do not change overnight. You can begin with Positive thoughts. Having positive thoughts about the things you are looking to accomplish instead of thinking negatively. Also being aware of your environment and making sure that when you find yourself in a group of people that are talking bad about something or someone you excuse yourself from the conversation. You will be surprised at how much better you will feel. Also remember in lesson 1 of our E-course, positive thinking

was talked about in the form of being grateful and happy. Make sure you are doing those exercises daily.

The next thing you can work on is have a positive attitude. Are you happy each day and emulating happiness to everyone around you? Try these tests:

Be self conscious about making an effort to smile at people as you walk around, notice how you can assist someone else in perking up there spirit and smiling back.

Say a warm felt good morning instead of looking towards the ground or just walking by someone and not saying anything. You never know you may even brighten someone's day.

Express a random act of kindness to a complete stranger will keep you on track. For example: one of my business partners was out to dinner with friends and he decided he was going to pay for a couples dinner across the restaurant with out them even knowing who did it for them. After they left the waiter brought over a very nice thank you that they wrote on the back of the check. Now every-time he shares this story with others of how grateful this couple was and how they had just been talking about random acts of kindness it makes him happy and fills him with joy.

Positive Affirmations can also be a step to more positive thinking. Several affirmations that have assisted me in my journey. The first one came from my Beyond Freedom Program: "Every Day in Every way I am Getting Better and Better." and this second one cam from Wallace D. Wattles "The Science of Getting Rich": "I CAN succeed, all that is possible to anyone is possible to me. I AM successful.I DO succeed, for I am full of the Power of Success."

Your journey to positive thinking also should include having Positive Emotions and a Positive Mental Attitude. This will require you to continue to work and learn how to improve this everyday. Read a good book or watch a positive movie you will be surprised how just taking this little step will move you in the right direction. No matter what your circumstances are at the present moment. Think Positively, expect only favorable results and situations, and the circumstances will change accordingly. It may take some time for the changes to take place, but eventually they do.

One last thing, every day smile at everyone, laugh and be happy.
